i added a chest to iron man. he's too shiny and clean now, but it's better than the scratched up look i had before.
im also thinking about moving some of my efforts into modeling for video game maps.
i would really like to do 3d modeling for a gaming company, and i think the best way to get started is to...well, start doing that. so i have a plan for a hl2 map featuring a bunch of custom models. i've only briefly looked around online for some tutorials on importing objects, and it doesnt look too hard. has anyone done this? obviously i would want to limit my poly-count, but is there a limit to the number of objects i can have on screen at once? hmm, it's worth looking into.
the idea behind the map, is kind of like a demo reel you can play. i would also make a video so you dont have to install it, but i think it could be pretty cool.
ehh, ill figure it out i guess.
